I let (for now) tournament leaders to do all required decisions and hope that players will also respect them. In this case I can't see big problems, because Poland won the match and even it would lead to sanctions, the results table remains the same.
The following part of the message is just something you need to think... it is not pointed to anyone, just something to open my thoughts from earlier years of the tournament.

These tournaments are always heavily based on trust. If you can't play tournaments in "good spirit", and there is need to create heavily restricting rules, then you need to follow e.g. these steps:
1) All players have to certify their identity and nationality. This requires showing passport for the tournament leader.
...this requires GDPR laws taken into account and means a lot of more work. For now, playing is always happening behind nicknames and people just trust that there are same persons always playing. I am 100% sure that this will lead to lack of players in "official tournaments" and, therefore, hope that this is not asked seriously. We are not playing on money prizes and taking part of the tournament is free and volunteer.
2) Second possibility is that we start to play in official game rooms, meaning that competition is played physically in the same arena. How many of you want to buy flights to e.g. Finland, where we will play these matches in the same room? I am 100% sure that none of us is playing this so seriously... If I am wrong, then there will be some payments coming for rent of arena for matches etc.. I am not the one that will be in charge in this kind of events.
3) You need to prove that person that has identified himself/herself, must be playing. This may require e.g. online webcam that is shared to tournament referee that follows that all playing is conducted by the book. This is also problematic, because webcam connection may interrupt connection in some cases and induce lag/disconnetion etc problems.
These tournaments have always been played seriously, but in "gentleman way" by trusting each other. Especially captains need to take responsibility and show that everything is going as well as possible, following the rules and respecting each other.
So... keep calm and continue playing pp2
