tuleeko toi arvonta-Excel joskus ihan julkisesti käytettäväksi? Onko mahdollista saada sitä arvonta exceliä tutkittavaksi?/koska nyt Basic of the map system -tiedosto on julkaistu ja arvonta julkaistu niin miksi sitten koko Exceliä ei julkaistaisi kerralla?
Annoin näihin yksityisesti vain lyhyen ja spekuloivan vastauksen, mutta nyt on antaa myös tarkempi vastaus, kun asioita on ehditty miettimään kunnolla. Haluamme korostaa, että kyseisestä Exceliä alettiin kehittämään jo vuonna 2021. Projektin laajuus ja monenlaiset haasteet pidensivät kehitystyötä enemmän kuin olisimme ikinä osanneet kuvitella. Projekti on ollut kehityksessä lähes koko ajan viimeisen kolmen vuoden aikana ja arvontasysteemin perusteet tekstitiedosto toi siihen oman lisänsä. Siihen nähden, että tämä kaikki tehtiin kokonaan ilmaiseksi, työn määrää voisi kuvailla surrealistiseksi. Sellaiseksi, johon kovin moni ei olisi edes harkinnut ryhtyvänsä. Tämän takia, Exceliä ei tulla laittamaan sellaisenaan julkiseen lataukseen. Vuosien aikana kehitetty työ on liian kallisarvoinen vain ”antaa pois”. Excelin suhteen on myös olemassa jatkosuunnitelmia, joita emme paljasta. Kuten arvontasysteemin perusteissa mainitaan, Excelissä näkyviä elementtejä ja sääntöjä saa hyödyntää muut järjestäjät haluamallaan tavalla, mutta jokainen, joka näin valitsee, joutuu tekemään sen työn itse. Mikäli arvontasysteemin sääntöjä hyödynnetään muissa turnauksissa, antaisimme suuren arvostuksen sille, että meidät voitaisiin tägätä jollakin tavalla tähän sääntökohtaan/ilmoitukseen kyseisen turnauksen ketjuissa @Tonza_888 @Havi jr
Korostan, että arvontavideo Excelistä sekä mappisysteemin perusteet tekstitiedosto on julkisesti luettavissa siitä syystä, että niiden eteen nähtiin noin kolmen vuoden vaiva (ilmaista työtä), ennen kuin ne olivat täysin valmiita julkaistavaksi. Totta kai julkaisua hidastivat myös muiden turnauksien (kuten SM-kisojen ja itselläni lisäksi myös Liigan) järjestäminen, omat tiimipelit ja muukin elämä. Allekirjoittaneelle tämä kaikki toi tietynlaisen ”loppuun palamisen”, joka johti lopulta siihen, että oma pelaaminen oli jätettävä kokonaan pois. Se on osa sitä hintaa, jonka minä jouduin siitä maksamaan, että tämä kaikki olisi mahdollista toteuttaa. Se on siis paljon aikaa, jota tähän on käytetty. Alkuperäisten tekijöiden tägääminen on siihen nähden minimaalisin mahdollinen pyyntö. Kuitenkin sellainen, jonka me näemme vähittäiseksi mahdolliseksi teoksi.
Miksi Ullavalta oli jätetty lähtöpaikka 1 pois arvonnasta?
Suora lainaus arvontasysteemin perusteista, kappaleesta 5, lähtöpaikat (käännetty Suomeksi). Lyhyessä listassa on listattu lähtöpaikat, jotka ovat tietyillä kartoilla täysin kiellettyjä. Syynä näihin voisi mainita tarpeettoman pitkät juoksumatkat kartan tiettyyn kohtaan, jolloin lähtöaluetta lähempänä oleva alue saisi tarpeettoman suuren edun. Tai lähtöpaikka, josta on tarpeettoman pitkä matka lähes kaikille kartan perusalueille. Tämä skenaario ei tuottaisi mitään iloa kenellekään. Erikoiskarttojen osalta tässä luettelossa on toistaiseksi vain kaksi karttaa. Näitä luetteloita voidaan kehittää edelleen tulevaisuudessa.
Muuta
Mappisysteemin suhteen olemme aina avoimia sen kehittämiselle. Esim. uudet vesistöt tuovat sinne automaattisesti uusia pelimuotoja ja niin edelleen. Kehitysideoita saa lähettää meille milloin vain ja luemme kyllä nämä viestit, vaikka emme niihin juuri reagoisikaan. Teemme päätökset arvontasysteemin kehittämisen suhteen itsenäisesti, rauhallisesti, perusteellisesti ja ennen kaikkea, MM-kisojen arvoisesti. Meillä ei siis ole antaa välitöntä vastausta minkään asian lisäämiselle tai muuttamiselle. Emme aio spekuloida millään asioilla etukäteen. Mahdolliset muutokset tulevat näkymään sitten seuraavissa kisoissa ja ne kyllä tuodaan sitten uudessa arvontasysteemin perusteet-tekstissä ilmi, mikäli jotain on muutettu. will that lottery Excel ever be publicly available? Is it possible to get that lottery Excel to study?/since now the Basic of the map system file has been published and the lottery has been published, why not publish the whole Excel at once?
I only gave a short and speculative answer to this in private, but now I have to give a more detailed answer as well, when I have had time to think things through properly. We would like to emphasize that the Excel in question started to be developed already in 2021. The scope of the project and the various challenges made the development work longer than we could have ever imagined. The project has been in development almost all the time during the last three years, and the text file Basics of the map system brought its own addition to it. Considering that all this was done completely free of charge, the amount of work could be described as surreal. One that not many people would have even considered taking on. Because of this, Excel will not be made available for public download as such. The work developed over the years is too precious to just "give away". There are also further plans for Excel that we won't reveal. As mentioned in the basics of the lottery system, the elements and rules visible in Excel can be used by other organizers as they wish, but everyone who chooses this way has to do the work themselves. If the rules of the raffle system are used in other tournaments, we would greatly appreciate it if we could somehow be tagged in this rule/announcement in the threads of that tournament @Tonza_888 @Havi jr
I emphasize that the raffle video from Excel and the text file of the basics of the map system are publicly readable because it took about three years of effort (free work) before they were fully ready to be published. Of course, the publication was also slowed down by the organization of other tournaments (such as the Finnish individual championships and, in my case, also the Finnish League), my own team games and the normal life. For the signatory, all this brought a certain kind of "burnout", which eventually led to the fact that one's own gaming had to be completely abandoned. That's part of the price I had to pay to make all of this possible. So that's a lot of time spent on this. Tagging the original authors is the least possible request.
Why was starting place 1 left out of the draw from Ullava?
A direct quote from the basics of the map system, from chapter 5, starting places. The short list lists starting points that are completely prohibited on certain maps. The reason for this could be the unnecessarily long running distances to a certain point on the map, in which case the area closer to the starting area would have an unnecessarily large advantage. Or a starting point from which it is an unnecessarily long journey to almost all the basic areas on the map. This scenario would bring no joy to anyone. As for special maps, there are only two maps on this list so far. These lists may be further developed in the future.
Else
Regarding the map system, we are always open to its development. For example, new bodies of water automatically bring new game modes and so on. You can send us development ideas at any time and we do read these messages, even if we don't really react to them. We make decisions regarding the development of the lottery system independently, calmly, thoroughly and above all, worthy of the World Cup. So we do not have to give an immediate answer to adding or changing anything. We're not going to speculate on anything beforehand. Any changes will then be visible in the next competitions and they will be revealed in the new lottery system's basic text, if something has been changed.
